The Water
It can be deep blue, aqua, even green – and it’s always crystal clear.

DL Bliss State Park
A scenic trail with amazing views of the shoreline and deep blue water.

Secret Cove
This little cove took over an hour of hiking to get to, but was well worth it. Only a few other people were there, along with some docked boats.

Summer frolicking in the cold water after some coaxing [forcing]

Frog Lake Hike in Truckee
Short hike in Truckee, a small town 30 minutes from Tahoe. We had to turn back before reaching the lake, but still saw some beautiful scenery along the way (including the small pond below).

Summer demonstrating proper form with my old man sticks

Bonsai Rock
We kayaked out to this famous rock known for its zen-like appearance. Small trees grow from the top, which look like Bonsai. I shot this rock in 2019 at night while lighting it with a drone.

A poor attempt at an "over-under" shot using an iPhone inside of a reptile aquarium. Next time I'll bring the right equipment 😂.
Zephyr Cove
A small public beach where we caught a mind-blowing sunset.

These homes were perched on a hill overlooking the cove. Not a bad view.

Hike To Fallen Leaf Lake
Some locals we met near a visitor center told us about this hike. We ended up seeing the best fall colors on our trip here.

Emerald Bay
One of the most popular sights in Lake Tahoe for good reason. There's an old Scandinavian-style tea house on the island in the middle, which was built along with a mansion on the bay shore in the early 1900s. Google "Vikingsholm" to learn more.
The other photos below are the surrounding mountainsides.

Miscellaneous

The view at night from our Airbnb in Incline Village. We had a mountainside to our left, Lake Tahoe to the right, and a bit of the Milky Way straight ahead on this night.
